Curly Cherry Arch Coffee Table
This unique yet simple table is created out of a single slab of cherry wood that has a lot of curl and reflects light differently depending on the angle at which you view it. It features two waterfall edges that form the legs to support the table. The surface grain from the top flows down each leg, so it maintains a uniform patterning just as it had when it was a single slab.
The undulating live edges are carefully treated to remove the “cambium” layer and exposes the edge of the tree. We don’t use draw knives to aggressively shave this detail away as we prefer the look of the natural edge.
The smooth hand rubbed finish is resistant to water, alcohol, and coffee, and the underside is finished in similar fashion.
